Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I pray unto Allah only, and ascribe unto Him no partner. 20 Say: Lo! I control not hurt nor benefit for you. 21 Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allah anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge. 22 My only (means of protection) is to convey the message of God. Whoever disobeys God and His Messenger will go to hell, wherein he will live forever". 23 At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers. 24 Say: 'I do not know whether that which you are promised is near, or whether my Lord will set for it a time. 25 Knower He of the Unseen, and He discloses not His Unseen to anyone, 26 "Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, 27 so as to make manifest that it is indeed [but] their Sustainer's messages that these [apostles] deliver: for it is He who encompasses [with His knowledge] all that they have [to say,] just as He takes count, one by one, of everything [that exists]. 28
