Blessed be He who, if He wills, can assign you better things than these; gardens underneath which rivers flow, and He shall assign for you palaces. 10 In fact they deny the Last Day; and We have kept prepared a blazing fire for those who deny the Last Day. 11 Even if they were to see [this fire] from a distant place, they would only listen to its raging and roaring. 12 And when they are flung into a narrow place thereof, chained together, they pray for destruction there. 13 [But they will be told:] "Pray not today for one single extinction, but pray for many extinctions!" 14 Ask them: "Is this better or a garden for everlasting abode which has been promised the pious and devout? It would be their guerdon and their destination. 15 Therein they will eternally have whatever they want. This is a binding promise from your Lord." 16 And on the day when He shall gather them, and whatever they served besides Allah, He shall say: Was it you who led astray these My servants, or did they themselves go astray from the path? 17 They will answer, "Hallowed be You! It was not proper for us to choose any guardian other than You. But You gave them and their fathers the comforts of this life, so that they forgot Your reminder and thus brought destruction upon themselves." 18 the Remembrance, and were a people corrupt.' So they cried lies touching the things you say, and you can neither turn it aside, nor find any help. Whosoever of you does evil, We shall let him taste a great chastisement. 19 And all the Noble Messengers We sent before you were like this – eating food and walking in the markets; and We have made some of you a test for others; so will you, O people, patiently endure? And O dear Prophet, your Lord is All Seeing. 20
