For he neither believed nor prayed, 31 on the contrary, he gave the lie to the Truth and turned his back upon it, 32 and then went arrogantly back to what he had come from. 33 Nearer unto thee and nearer, 34 then nearer to you and nearer! 35 Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)? 36 What, was he not an ejaculated drop (of sperm)? 37 He then became a clot – so Allah created him, then made him proper. 38 And made him in two sexes, male and female. 39 Does He then not have the power to bring the dead back to life? 40
