Hizb 46

And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 Then he joined the lots, and was of the condemned. 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 Had he not been one of those who glorify Allah, 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 Or, did We create the angels females while they were witnessing? 150 Is it not that they say, from their own invention, 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Bring your Book, if you are truthful. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 But not so the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 160 You and whatever you worship 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 Save him who is to burn in hell. 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 And we are those who sing hallelujas to Him." 166 And there were those who said, 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! 177 And turn thou aside from them for a season. 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 And peace upon the messengers. 181 And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
