For those who fear God there are pleasure gardens with their Lord. 34 Shall We then make the Muslims like the culprits? 35 What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? 36 Or have you a Book wherein you study? 37 and in which you find all that you may wish to find? 38 Do you have a covenant with Us which allows you to do whatever you want until the Day of Judgment? 39 Ask them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or have they any partners? Let them bring their partners then, if what they say is true. 41 The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able, 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. 45 Or dost thou (Muhammad) ask a fee from them so that they are heavily taxed? 46 Or do they have knowledge of the unknown which they copy down? 47 Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed. 48 had his Lord not bestowed His favour upon him, he would have been cast upon that barren shore (and would have remained there) in disgrace. 49 Then his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. 52
