Surely We shall help Our Messengers and those who have believed, in the present life, and upon the day when the witnesses arise, 51 The excuses of the unjust will be of no benefit to them on that day. They will be condemned to live in a most terrible abode. 52 And certainly We gave Musa the guidance, and We made the children of Israel inherit the Book, 53 as their inheritance and as a guide and a reminder to the people of understanding. 54 (Muhammad), exercise patience. The promise of God is true. Seek forgiveness for your sins and glorify your Lord with His praise in the evenings and in the early mornings. 55 Those who dispute about the signs of Allah without any authority bestowed on them,- there is nothing in their breasts but (the quest of) greatness, which they shall never attain to: seek refuge, then, in Allah: It is He Who hears and sees (all things). 56 Certainly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of the men, but most people do not know 57 And the blind and the sighted are not equal and neither are the believers who perform good deeds and the wicked equal; how very little do you ponder! 58 There is no doubt that the Hour is coming, yet most people do not believe. 59 Your Lord said: “Pray to Me, and I will accept your prayers. Surely those who wax too proud to worship Me shall enter Hell, utterly abased.” 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
