We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
