The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. 1 He sends down the angels with inspiration of His Command to whom of His slaves He pleases (saying): "Warn mankind that La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so fear Me (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds). 2 He created the heavens and the earth with the truth; Supreme is He above their ascribing of partners (to Him). 3 He has created man from Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge), then behold, this same (man) becomes an open opponent. 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 and you find beauty in them when you drive them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful. 7 And [it is He who creates] horses and mules and asses for you to ride, as well as for [their] beauty: and He will yet create things of which [today] you have no knowledge. 8 And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind). 9
