Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
