The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to those who give less [than due], 1 Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure, 2 And who, when they measure unto them or weigh for them, diminish. 3 Do they not realise that they will be raised to life 4 For a tremendous Day - 5 A Day whereon mankind shall stand before the Lord of the worlds? 6 No indeed, the Book of the immoral is in Sijjeen. 7 How will you comprehend what Sijjin is? 8 It is a comprehensively written Book (of records). 9 Woe on that day to the rejecters, 10 Those who deny the Day of Justice. 11 None belies it except every guilty sinner. 12 When Our Verses (of the Quran) are recited to him he says: "Tales of the ancients!" 13 Nay! But on their hearts is the Ran (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn. 14 Nay, but surely on that day they will be covered from (the mercy of) their Lord. 15 Then they shall roast in Hell, 16 And it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny. 17 By no means! Verily the record of the virtuous shall be in 'Illiyun. 18 But how will you comprehend what 'Illiyun is? 19 A record of good deeds written. 20 witnessed by those brought nigh. 21 The virtuous will live in bliss, 22 On thrones, looking (at all things). 23 Thou wilt recognise in their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss. 24 They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed, 25 which have the fragrance of musk. This is the kind of place for which one should really aspire. 26 And the admixture of it is a water of Tasnim, 27 A spring whereof drink those nearest to Allah. 28 Lo! the guilty used to laugh at those who believed, 29 and winked at one another as they passed them by. 30 and when they returned to their people they returned blithely, 31 And when they saw them, they said: verily these are the strayed ones. 32 Whereas they were not sent over them as watchers. 33 But on the Day [of Judgment,] they who had attained to faith will [be able to] laugh at the [erstwhile] deniers of the truth: 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do? 36
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
