Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
HA MIM. 1 This Book is revealed from God, the Majestic and All-wise. 2 Verily in the heavens and the earth are signs unto the believers. 3 and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, 4 and in the succession of night and day, and in the provision that Allah sends down from the sky wherewith He gives life to the earth after it had been lifeless, and in the change of the winds: (in all these) there are Signs for people who use reason. 5 These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you with the truth; so forsaking Allah and His signs, what will they believe in? 6 Woe to every guilty impostor 7 who hears God's messages when they are conveyed to him, and yet, as though he had not heard them, persists in his haughty disdain! Hence, announce unto him grievous suffering 8 When he learns something of Our revelations, he derides them: for such there will be humiliating torment. 9 Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment. 10 This is guidance. Those who deny the revelations of their Lord will suffer a dreadful doom. 11
