The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The Beneficent (God) 1 has taught the Koran. 2 He created man. 3 He taught him eloquent speech. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 And the herbs and the trees do obeisance. 6 and heaven -- He raised it up, and set the Balance. 7 So that none may err against the scales, 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth! He hath lain it out for the creatures. 10 There are fruits of all kinds on it, and date-palms with their clusters sheathed, 11 And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He has created man, from dry ringing clay, like the potter"s, 14 And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 16 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. 17 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 18 He has given freedom to the two great bodies of water, so that they might meet: 19 and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep. 20 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 21 From them come forth the pearl and the coral. 22 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 23 Also, His are the ships that run, raised up like mountains upon the sea. 24 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
