Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And We have exalted your remembrance for you. 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
