۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 right before your very eyes? 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
