In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 storming tempestuously 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 The living and the dead, 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
