And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud. 26 As We fashioned jinns before from intense radiated heat. 27 And lo! Thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create mortal man out of sounding clay, out of dark slime transmuted; 28 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 29 So, the angels - all of them - fell down in prostration, 30 except Iblis; he refused to join those who prostrated. 31 He said: 'iblis, what is the matter with you, that you do you not prostrate yourself' 32 Iblis replied, "I did not want to prostrate before a human being whom You have created out of mud-moulded clay". 33 (Allah) said: 'Begone, you are accursed! 34 "And the curse shall be on thee till the day of Judgment." 35 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 36 The Lord said, "Your request is granted 37 till that Appointed Day." 38 "O my Lord," he said, "since You have led me into error I'll beguile them with the pleasures of the world and lead them astray, 39 except Your sincere servants". 40 [Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight. 41 Verily as for My bondmen, no authority shalt thou have over them, except the erring one who follow thee. 42 And lo! for all such, hell will be the promised place. 43 It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated." 44

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
