۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
