NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And the night when it departs, 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 A warning to mankind, 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 in Gardens they will question 40 about the sinners. 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As if they were startled donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
