Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 who show off, 6 and refuse charity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
