The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful 1

All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Universe, 2 The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 3 Owner of the Day of Recompense 4 Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
