The Key (Al-Faatehah)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful 1
Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors. Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray. 7
Almighty Allah's Truth.
