The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace 1

Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 2 the Beneficent, the Merciful; 3 Sovereign of the Day of Requital. 4 Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not of those on whom is indignation brought down, nor of the astray. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
