In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; 2 Most beneficent, ever-merciful, 3 The Master of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. 5 Guide us to the Straight Way 6 the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, nor of those who are astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
