The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds - 2 The Compassionate, the Merciful. 3 and Master of the Day of Judgment 4 Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee,] nor of those who go astray! 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
