In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful 1
All praise belongs to God, Lord of the Universe, 2 The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The path of those You have blessed, Not of those who have earned Your anger, nor those who have gone astray. 7
