Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He said, "O my people, worship God; you have no other god but He. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day," 59 The elders of his people replied: "We see clearly that you have gone astray." 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 I am conveying my Lord's messages to you and giving you sincere advice. I know things from God that you do not. 62 “And are you surprised that an advice came to you from your Lord through a man amongst you, so that he may warn you and that you may fear, and so that there be mercy upon you?” 63 In response they denied him, so We rescued him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our signs; indeed they were a blind group. 64
