We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day. 59 The chiefs of his people said: verily we see thee in error manifest. 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 I deliver to you the Messages of my Lord, and I advise you sincerely; for I know from God that you know not. 62 Do you wonder that a warning has come to you from your Lord through a man who is one of you, and warns you to take heed for yourselves and fear God? You might be treated with mercy." 63 In response they denied him, so We rescued him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our signs; indeed they were a blind group. 64
