▼ 8 The Spoils of War
Al-Anfaal 8 of 10

Do not suppose that the unbelievers have outstripped (Allah). They cannot frustrate Me. 59 Mobilize your (defensive) force as much as you can to frighten the enemies of God and your own enemies. This also will frighten those who are behind them whom you do not know but God knows well. Whatever you spend for the cause of God, He will give you sufficient recompense with due justice. 60 ۞ But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). 61 And if they desire to trick thee, God is sufficient for thee; He has confirmed thee with His help, and with the believers, 62 And united their hearts; had you spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allah united them; surely He is Mighty, Wise. 63 O Prophet, Allah suffices you and whosoever follows you of the believers. 64
