(O Prophet!) Whatever you may be engaged in, whether you recite any portion of the Qur'an, or whatever else all of you are doing, We are witnesses to whatever you may be occupied with. Not even an atom's weight escapes your Lord on the earth or in the heaven, nor is there anything smaller or bigger than that, except that it is on record in a Clear Book. 61 Those who are close to God shall certainly have no fear, nor shall they grieve. 62 they who have attained to faith and have always been conscious of Him. 63 for them is good tidings in the present life and in the world to come. There is no changing the words of God; that is the mighty triumph. 64 Let not their speech grieve thee: for all power and honour belong to Allah: It is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things). 65 Why, surely to God belongs everyone that is in the heavens and in the earth; they follow, who call upon associates, apart from God -- they follow nothing but surmise, merely conjecturing. 66 He it is Who made for you the night that you might rest in it, and the day giving light; most surely there are signs in it for a people who would hear. 67 They say: Allah has taken a son (to Himself)! Glory be to Him: He is the Self-sufficient: His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth; you have no authority for this; do you say against Allah what you do not know? 68 Say: Verily those who invent a lie concerning Allah will not succeed. 69 [A brief] enjoyment in this world - and thereafter unto Us they must return: and then We shall let them taste suffering severe as an outcome of their persistent denial of the truth. 70
