And indeed We sent Musa (Moses) with Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and a manifest authority; 96 Towards Firaun and his court members, thereupon they followed the commands of Firaun; and the work of Firaun was not proper. 97 He will go before his people on the Day of Judgment, and lead them into the Fire (as cattle are led to water): But woeful indeed will be the place to which they are led! 98 And a curse followed them in the world, and on the Day of Resurrection; what a wretched gift is what they received. 99 That, which We have related to you, is the news of the villages; some of them still stand, whereas others are stubble. 100 We did not wrong them; they wronged themselves; the deities they called on besides God availed them nothing: when God's command came upon them, they only added to their ruin. 101 Such is the punishment of your Lord when He seizes human settlements in the acts of wickedness. Surely His hold is grievous and terrible. 102 Most surely there is a sign in this for him who fears the chastisement of the hereafter; this is a day on which the people shall be gathered together and this is a day that shall be witnessed. 103 And We do not postpone it except for a fixed term. 104 The Day it comes no soul will speak except by His permission. And among them will be the wretched and the prosperous. 105 The wretched ones will be in the Fire sighing and groaning, 106 Where they will dwell so long as heaven and earth endure, unless your Lord will otherwise. Verily your Lord does as He wills. 107 ۞ And those who are blessed shall be in the Garden: They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: a gift without break. 108 So be not thou in dubitation concerning that which these people worship. They worship not save as their fathers worshipped afore; and verily We will repay unto them in full their portion, undiminished. 109
