The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This Book whereof there is no doubt, is a guidance unto the God-fearing. 2 Who believe in [the existence of] that which is beyond the reach of human perception, and are constant in prayer, and spend on others out of what We provide for them as sustenance; 3 And who believe in that which has been bestowed from on high upon thee, [O Prophet,] as well as in that which was bestowed before thy time: for it is they who in their innermost are certain of the life to come! 4 Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful. 5 As for the unbelievers, alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or hast not warned them, they do not believe. 6 God has sealed their hearts and their ears, and over their eyes there is a covering. They will have a terrible punishment. 7
