The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif Lam Mim. 1 That is the (Holy) Book, where there is no doubt. It is a guidance for the cautious (of evil and Hell). 2 Who believe in the Unseen, and establish worship, and spend of that We have bestowed upon them; 3 And who believe in that which hath been sent down unto thee and that which hath been sent down before thee and of the Hereafter they are convinced. 4 They are on (true) guidance from their Lord, and they are the successful. 5 Verily those who have disbelieved, it is equal to them whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they will not believe. 6 God has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a covering, and there awaits them a mighty chastisement. 7
