O you who believe! seek assistance through patience and prayer; surely Allah is with the patient. 153 And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: "They are dead." Nay, they are living, though ye perceive (it) not. 154 And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). 155 who, when they are visited by an affliction, say, 'Surely we belong to God, and to Him we return'; 156 Those are they on whom are blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those are the followers of the right course. 157 ۞ Safa and Marwah are among the symbols set up by God; there is nothing wrong if anyone goes on a pilgrimage to the House, or performs a minor pilgrimage, in walking to and fro between them. Of anyone who does good of his own accord, God is appreciative, and aware. 158 Those who conceal the clear signs and the guidance that We have sent down, after We have shown them clearly in the Book -- they shall be cursed by God and the cursers, 159 except those who repent, and mend (their deeds) and clarify. Those I shall accept them. I am the Receiver of repentance, the Most Merciful. 160 Indeed upon those who disbelieved, and died as disbelievers, is the curse of Allah and of the angels and of men combined. 161 They will remain in it forever; neither will the punishment be lightened for them, nor will they be given respite. 162 Your God is one God; there is no god other than He, the compassionate, ever-merciful. 163
