O Ye who believe! seek help in patience and prayer; verily Allah is with the patient. 153 And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah "dead." Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not. 154 We will surely put you to trial by involving you in fear and hunger and by causing loss of property, life and earnings. And give good tidings to those who remain steadfast in these trials: 155 Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." 156 It is they who will receive blessings and mercy from God and who follow the right guidance. 157 ۞ Verily Safa and Marwa are of the landmarks of Allah; so whosoever maketh a pilgrimage to the House, or performeth the Umra, in him there is no fault if he walketh in-between the twain. And whosoever voluntarily doth good, then verily Allah is Appreciative, Knowing. 158 Surely those who conceal the clear proofs and the guidance that We revealed after We made it clear in the Book for men, these it is whom Allah shall curse, and those who curse shall curse them (too). 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 Those who deny My existence and die with such attitude will be subject to the condemnation of God, the angels, and all people. 161 They are there (in the Fire) for eternity neither shall the punishment be lightened for them; nor shall they be given respite. 162 Your Deity is Allah alone: there is no deity save the All-Beneficent and All-Merciful Allah. 163
