Al-Ra'ad 3 of 6

۞ CAN, THEN, he who knows that whatever has been bestowed from on high upon thee by thy Sustainer is the truth be deemed equal to one who is blind? Only they who are endowed with insight keep this in mind: 19 they who are true to their bond with God and never break their covenant; 20 Those who unite what Allah has commanded to be united, and fear their Lord, and apprehend the evil of the account. 21 And those who are constant, seeking the pleasure of their Lord, and keep up prayer and spend (benevolently) out of what We have given them secretly and openly and repel evil with good; as for those, they shall have the (happy) issue of the abode 22 Gardens of Eden which they shall enter; and those who were righteous of their fathers, and their wives, and their seed, shall enter them, and the angels shall enter unto them from every gate: 23 'Peace be upon you, for that you were patient.' Fair is the Ultimate Abode. 24 But as for those who break their bond with God after it has been established [in their nature,] and cut asunder what God has bidden to be joined, and spread corruption on earth - their due is rejection [by God,] and theirs is a most evil fate [in the life to come]. 25 Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment. 26
