Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every accursed Satan 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
