Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
