▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We let loose the winds to fertilize [plants] and We send down water from the skies and let you drink thereof: and it is not you who dispose of its source 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
