Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
