Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 and guarded them from every accursed Satan 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
