Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
