Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
