▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
