Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
