Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals]. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
