Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are its treasuries, and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
