Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 except his wife (about whom Allah says that) We have decreed that she shall be among those who stay behind." 60
