Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
