Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
