VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 'Enter you them, in peace and security!' 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ (O Prophet), declare to My servants that I am indeed Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful. 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They replied: 'In truth we have given you glad tidings, do not be one of those who despair' 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
